PCC organized training workshop entitled "Expression therapy, art or therapy"
The Palestinian Counseling Center in cooperation with the Department of Social Sciences in Bethlehem University, organized today 24th November 2018, a training workshop entitled "Expression therapy, art or therapy" for a group of university students. In order to highlight the importance of expression therapy in Palestine as an evolutionary therapeutic intervention
The workshop comes within the center’s activities to celebrate the 35th anniversary of its establishment. It aimed to introduce students to expressive arts therapy and ways to access it> During the workshop, the students experienced treatment using expressive arts through painting and using clay, followed by a theoretical presentation on the orientations, methods and steps of applying the treatment of expressive arts.
The workshop was attended by 25 male and female students from the social service department, the short-term intervention course, in the presence of Dr. Fardous Abdurabo, Head of Department of social sciences, Professor Nabila Al-Dakkak and Dr. Ahmed Al-Fosfous from the Department.
The meeting was organized by the Center's expressive art therapist, Shadi Jaber, and psychologist Rania Sobha, in the presence of public relations coordinator Dima Tadros.
